Duomo

A large open-air museum that includes the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Crypt of Santa Reparata and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Each of these monuments deserves to be treated individually. Over time, however, the idea of transforming the entire square into a single museum complex that can be visited with a single ticket prevailed. No wonder we put Piazza del Duomo in first place.

Ponte Vecchio

One of the most famous bridges in the world and certainly one of the most beautiful. Suffice it to say that he was the only one of the city to be spared by the German troops in retreat in 1944. After all, this is a bridge that has seen so many, having always had to deal with the "whims" of the Arno.

Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens

The historic residence of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany and the largest monumental green area of the city. Inside the building several exhibitions: the Palatine Gallery and the Royal Apartments; the Gallery of Modern Art; the Silver Museum; the Porcelain Museum and the Costume Gallery. Finally, as we said, the Boboli Gardens that for the amount of landscape views and architectural details should be considered a real museum, to visit which takes no less than three hours.

Vecchio Palace

For over seven hundred years Palazzo Vecchio has been the heart of the civil power of Florence. Even today it houses several municipal offices, including that of the first citizen, while the remaining rooms are used as a museum.
